Accomplishments
Legislation adopted to:
- Mark April 1st as Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Awareness Day
- Mandate ACEs training for all mandated reporters
- Allow home visiting to count as a work requirement for TANF recipients
- Allow cannabis fund proceeds to be used for afterschool programs
I also helped secure millions in funding for child care, PreK, and home visiting programs, as well as for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
